What Is Induction

There are tremendous savings in money and energy use from using an induction cooktop versus traditional electric or even gas.

Induction cooktops are the standard in Europe where resources are often more frugally used.

There are no moving parts so very little can ever go wrong.  The rugged durability of no parts that can wear out means many years of clean, safe cooking!

Save Money

Because of the reduced cooking time, the energy savings can be substantial. Induction cooktops are 85-90% more energy efficient compared to electricity powered stoves and ovens, and they use approximately half the energy of gas-sourced models.

Safer Cooking

Induction cooking is safer as it heats the pan rather than an intermediary element.

Without the presence of a magnetic pot, there is no heat generated. Unlike a traditional cooktop that uses either electric burners or gas to produce heat, you can put your hand on an induction burner when it is on without harm.

With that being said, it must be pointed out that if you heat a pan using induction, then take that pan away, the glass will be heated by the pan. It IS still possible to be burned
